Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil Delicate Fruity is a Sicilian oil with a delicate appearance. light green with reflections golden, this oil is limpid e brilliant and is characterised by aromatic notes of delicate fragrance and from the smooth taste.
It is perfect for those who seek a softer and less intense flavour than the Fruttato Intenso extra virgin olive oil. In particular, it can be appreciated by those who wish to enhance the more delicate and lighter flavours of dishes, such as salads, steamed vegetables and fish dishes.
It presents unique sensory notes reminiscent of the aroma of ripe olives, the dried almondof the walnut and some delicate notes of apple freshly harvested, thus making it a sweet oil with a fragrant flavour and particularly tasty delicate with slight spicy notes.
These particular taste suggestions are given by the variety of olives we use, including Biancolilla, Giarraffa, Cerasuolacultivated in the Sicani Mountains in Sicily. La collection of the olives takes place from mid-November, when the olives are less unripe, and this gives our oil a characteristic delicate flavour with fragrant aromatic notes and a sweet taste, with little bitter notes. This is the result of careful harvesting of the olives at the time of ideal maturationa process that requires patience and care, and which takes place in a traditional agricultural context with a millenary milling culture.
The olives are transported to the mill within 48 hours to be subjected to the cold extraction process. This production method allows all the organoleptic characteristics of the olives to be preserved, guaranteeing an extra virgin olive oil with a fragrant flavour and a particularly delicate taste with slight hints of spiciness.

How best to store extra virgin olive oil?
To store extra virgin olive oil in the best possible way, it is important to take a few precautions. First of all, the oil should be stored away from direct light and heat, in a cool and dry place. The ideal temperature for storing extra virgin olive oil is around 15-20 degrees Celsius.
In addition, it is important to use a airtight containerdark glass or stainless steel, to prevent oxidation of the oil.
It is also essential avoid exposing extra virgin olive oil to air for long periods, as oxygen can cause oxidation of the oil.
We recommend the use of the bag in box that allow the oil to be stored for a long time, keeping its aromas and flavours unaltered. In fact, extra virgin olive oil can be stored in a bag-in-box for several monthseven after opening the package.
